On August 22 a cat named BJ entered the Morris Animal Refuge in Philadelphia. However, this is not an ordinary cat: he was extremely large. Despite the fact that he looks like a mongrel, the cat has a maine coon or even saber-toothed brindle in his blood.

Biennial big guy with a sad look is waiting for its new owners. But it's not a sad story, because after all with all the publications about BJ on Twitter there was already a queue for him at the shelter. It looks like the cat will be allowed to choose his new owners by himself.

We are glad to introduce you to BJ. All the cats you used to think were big have got nothing on him.

BJ in a Philadelphia shelter

The Philadelphia domestic shorthair is a true Goliath. Its weight is almost 26 lb! But it can hardly be called a simple fat cat. It's not about his weight, but rather about his build and length.

Here’s what post made about him by representatives of the shelter says:

«Oh, My God. Mr. B is a real puff. He is the pomp of all pomps. He redefines the term. Сan you guess how much he weighs? And what’s more important, whether you can give him a home? Take this huge armful of furry and love. Please retweet to help this sad-eyed guy find a family».

In the comments, BJ was treated with compliments and jokes about his adorable immensity. It says: «I would also take him, he is very handsome» or «Every time my dogs act cheeky, I show them a picture of this cat».

No one even doubts that BJ will be in someone's caring hands soon. And representatives of the law enforcement agencies of Philadelphia even wrote that comment: «Hm, if no one takes him, which is unlikely, he can join our K9 unit as the first service cat».

We wish this huge cat to be in the company of good people!
