Schoolboy Conner has a best friend – Copper the dog. Unfortunately, the pooch has recently fallen ill, so the boy decided to auction off all his toys to pay for the dog's treatment.

Several years ago Connor was diagnosed with post-traumatic stress disorder. Since his anxiety triggered seizures, doctors advised his mom to get a therapy dog.
