How would you like to have a kangaroo lying on your couch every day? And this Aussie family are perfectly fine with that!

Meet an eastern grey (or giant) kangaroo named Rufus. He lives in South Australia.

He adores the couch most of all. The locals even consider him a couch expert, because he spends so much time lying on it.

The owners of the house don't mind such a guest at all. They are the founders of Pumpkins Patch Kangaroo Sanctuary for orphaned kangaroos. The couple helps animals left without mother, fallen out of the pouch, and they know how to interact with kangaroos.

Kangaroos don't usually try to get into the house, but not this 90-lb guy. First, Rufus peeked in the windows, waiting for the door to open so he could lie on the couch, but now it's become a routine.

You can't keep kangaroos as pets in Australia; they're protected by law. So every night Rufus, who loves lying on the couch, is taken outside.

Rufus is very friendly, he is used not only to the couch, but also to the owners of the house.

He also made friends with the owner's dog Zarla, who also loves lying on the couch. And who doesn't?

You can only see that in Australia!
