This cat, who had been living on the roadside, didn't hesitate to take a chance when it came her way.

A young cat with a black and white coat was living on the roadside in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Recently an opportunity has come her way. Employees of a public bus company stopped not far from her. The feline did not hesitate a second, and came to ask for their help.

The cat went towards the men meowing loudly

Pittsburgh Regional Transit is a public transit agency in Pittsburgh. They have electric buses and other vehicles. One day, on hearing a loud meow, the company employees stopped on a bus lane. A young cat was trying to get their attention, while heading straight for them.

The cat let herself be petted and purred a lot. She was very happy to have finally succeeded in attracting humans' attention.

The cat spent the whole day with the employees

The bus driver took the animal with him and brought her to the company's premises. There, she was able to eat her fill, and fall asleep with her stomach full. She seemed serene and calm.

Pittsburgh Regional Transit shared a post on Twitter, which reads, "After eating a surprising amount of sardines and taking a one-hour nap, kitten sat in on a planning meeting. After work, a member of the Communications team will take her to a shelter to see if she’s chipped."

The kitty has been adopted by a loving family

Just as they said they would, the transit agency employees took the cat to a shelter. It turned out that the kitty didn't have a chip. She was named Blue, in honor of the blue color of the electric buses.

The very next day, the company announced some good news. Blue had already been adopted and had a great night with her new family. She is now safe and surrounded by love, away from the dangers of traffic and hunger.
